After Service Coffee Hosts

Coffee and lemonade are provided following the Sunday worship service. The After Service Coffee Committee designates a family or small group to host the coffee each week.
Blood Drive

Volunteers are needed to donate blood, take registration and help in the canteen. This occurs twice a year.
Care Corps

The Care Corps helps to meet the needs of Trinity members who are unable to attend church. Homebound members are paired with someone who enjoys visiting with them.
Care-seroles

The Care-seroles volunteers supply casseroles which are given to members of Trinity experiencing crisis, hospitalization or difficulty.
Child Care on Sunday Mornings
Volunteers are needed to provide care once a month for the children of Trinity members and visitors from 10:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
Comfort and Care

The Comfort and Care Committee shepherds our bereaved families through the funeral or memorial service,
organizes a reception following the service and may provide a meal for the family either before or after a funeral.
The committee has eight subcommittees who alternate providing meals and receptions as needed.
Flower Committee

This committee is responsible for the flowers that adorn the altar each week and for the placement of the lilies at Easter and the seasonal greenery, Advent wreath and poinsettias during Advent and Christmas.
Friendship Trays

Drivers are needed five days a week. Help is always needed to coordinate the route and to distribute the food to the drivers.
Habitat for Humanity Crew

Trinity’s Habitat Crew is part of a national ministry that builds and renovates homes in order to provide decent housing for all. Our crew works approximately every sixth Saturday putting vinyl siding on the houses under construction. With donations of time, money and materials, Charlotte Habitat crews have built more than 500 homes.
Office Assistants

It’s a really great way to stay "in the know" about what’s going on at Trinity, meet new people and make a good contribution to the staff. New volunteers are always needed to answer the phone, make copies, greet people and assist the staff in many ways. Shifts are half days - 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Regular volunteers are always needed as well as substitute volunteers.
Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain teams pray upon request for those experiencing joy, grief, sorrow, anxiety, crisis, or a momentous occasion.
RAIN Team (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network)

The RAIN Team is a group of committed individuals who provide non-medical support for an individual living with HIV/AIDS.
Room at the Inn

Room In the Inn offers food and lodging twice a month in Trinity's Fellowship Hall during the months of December-March for individuals from Charlotte's homeless population. Ways to serve include transportation, overnight host, breakfast or bag lunch preparation or laundry.
Sunday Greeters

Members volunteer to serve as greeters for the 11:00 a.m. service each Sunday, positioned in the Narthex and the Cloister to greet visitors and members as we gather to worship God.
Usher Committee

Ushering at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service involves teams of ushers who distribute worship bulletins and collect the offering.
Wedding Committee

This group is composed of women who assist the pastor and bride in planning and coordinating the rehearsal and wedding according to church liturgy and customs. Two members assist at each wedding.
Wednesday Night Suppers

The Church Dinner Committee organizes dinners on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. The dinners begin on September 10, 2008,
run until November 19, 2008 and resume in January 2009. Reservations are due in the Church Office by 10:00 a.m. on the Monday preceding the dinner.

Volunteers are needed for one of our best-attended children's events of the year, Vacation Bible School. Training and resources are provided. Possible areas of service include: storytellers, snack leaders, craft leaders, recreation leaders, preschool teachers and group leaders.
