A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
– “O, Holy Night” by Adolphe Adam
These words from a beloved Christmas hymn seem most appropriate this year. The pandemic and ongoing cultural upheaval of our world indeed has us weary – but we rejoice because Christ is born into that very world. This Advent season, we invite you to join us on a journey that will guide us from where we are, into “a new and glorious morn.”
Advent in Plain Sight Devotion & Dialogue
At Christmas, God came into our ordinary world in the form of a child, and still today, God is at work through the ordinary stuff of life, if we train our eyes to see. Join us for an easy Devotion & Dialogue around Jill Duffield’s study book, Advent in Plain Sight. There will be two days each week for you to join our dialogue:
Sundays, November 28 – December 19 at 9:45am in the Heritage Room
Mondays, November 29 – December 20 at 12:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room (Zoom option provided. Email email@example.com for Zoom info).
A study book will be provided in someway (i.e. to use in class, to borrow, or to purchase).
