Connect with God During Lent at TPC
UPDATE: Trinity staff members are working on a plan to worship together online during Holy Week while stay-at-home orders are in effect. Service will be streamed via Zoom, Facebook, and Youtube. Thank you for helping us #ConnectTPC!
Maundy Thursday Service – April 9, 7 p.m.
We will also email daily devotionals for Holy Week starting Monday, April 6. In addition, our Lenten daily devotional book is available HERE online.
We are glad for the in-person connections we made during Ashes to Go, which took place a few weeks before coronavirus concerns surfaced. Ash Wednesday was a day to reflect on how we belong to Christ and how Christ abides in us. The practice of wearing ashes on the forehead signifies our brokenness, our deep need for God and our commitment to repent; to turn away from things that create death and turn toward a God who offers life through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
May the ashes remind us that we are dust and shall return to dust.
May they remind us of the cross of Christ by which we are given everlasting life.
May they remind us that we are children of God and beloved in God’s sight.
We may not be able to worship together in person right now, but we can still “be church” and connect during this Season of Lent.
