Trinity is pleased to welcome three new people to our staff leadership team!
Caroline Dalton is our new Administrative Coordinator. Caroline is a Charlotte native and graduate of the University of South Carolina. She describes herself as someone with “strong interpersonal skills” and a “consistent collaborator.” Caroline impressed our search committee with her warm personality, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Caroline and husband Ed have an 8-month old daughter. In her free time Caroline enjoys baking, spin classes, and spending time with her friends and family. Her first day at Trinity will be Tuesday, Feb. 26th, and her hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays 1-5pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-5pm, and Fridays 9am-noon.
Sharon Smith has been hired as our new Communications Coordinator. She joins our staff with a strong background in journalism and communications. If Sharon looks familiar, it’s probably because she spent twelve years as an anchor and reporter for WBTV, and continues freelance media work. In her conversations with the search committee she spoke of her desire to help “tell Trinity’s deep and vivid story.” Sharon and her husband, Colin, have 6-year-old twin girls and a 9-year-old son. Sharon enjoys tackling “home improvement” projects and re-creating some of her Mom’s best recipes. Sharon will start on March 1st and her office hours will be 9am-2pm Tuesday-Thursday and 9-noon on Fridays.
Jodi Neal is our new Sunday Assistant. She is a familiar face, as she’s been with us as a Sunday morning temp since last fall. Jodi will continue supporting Trinity by opening and closing the facility, setting up for events as needed, and helping run the A/V equipment during worship. Originally from Aiken, SC, Jodi has a diverse background that includes notary republic, wellness coach, volunteer for the Red Cross, and former actress. Most of all, she enjoys life and helping people. We are very happy to have her staying with us.
We welcome Caroline, Sharon, and Jodi to Trinity!
