During the pandemic, Trinity Presbyterian Church offers two ways to join us safely for worship. You’re invited to gather with us outside and follow current safety guidelines, or join us via our YouTube channel each Sunday at 10 a.m. Our worship service will also be uploaded to our website by Sunday afternoon.

Thank you for observing these outdoor guidelines as we worship God and assure the safety of all.

We will meet outdoors in front of the Fellowship Hall – All data suggests this is much safer right now than meeting in our sanctuary. We hope to transition inside once its deemed safe for all. We are blessed to have the perfect outdoor space for this!

Worship will be at 10 a.m. – Worship time could be adjusted in the future based on a seasonal need with temperatures. We will only worship virtually if inclement weather is in the forecast. We will notify our membership via email should outdoor worship be canceled. We will notify the community via social media.

Bring your own lawn chairs/blankets – In addition, we’ll position some of the picnic tables so families can sit at them. Bringing your own bug spray may also be a good idea.

Social distancing & wearing masks – The Worship Ministry Team marks spots where people can sit that are six feet apart. We ask worshippers to wear masks. If you don’t have one, we’ll be happy to provide one for you (thanks, Reta Phifer!)

Casual attire and atmosphere – We’re outside, so dress comfortably.  Shorts are great! Young kids? Feel free to bring a blanket with toys for them to play with

Bathroom plan – We’ve designated one set of bathrooms for use. We have a “bathroom monitor” keep track when someone is in the bathroom and ask others to wait until they return. Both bathrooms will receive a “deep clean” by our janitorial service the following day.

Sound system – We use a portable sound system so all can hear.

Parking for those who want to remain in cars – We have some designated parking spots for those who prefer to sit in their cars, roll down their windows, and listen from a distance.

Zoom/YouTube Live – Because our online services reach some in our congregation who are not able to worship in person, we are committed to continuing this as we re-gather. We will also broadcast our sanctuary services when we return there.

Continue emailing Order of Worship on Saturday – We invite people to bring them on Sunday on their phones/tablets or print their own copies (we will provide a limited number of paper copies as well). This will also allow us to easily switch to virtual-only should rainy/stormy weather keep us from meeting in person.

We’ll see you at outdoor worship!
