Welcome Reverend Caroline East, Summer Parish Associate
Caroline joins the Trinity family Sunday, May 26. Caroline’s responsibilities and hours at Trinity focus on Sunday morning worship leadership and preaching. She will also be part of the pastoral care team. She will lead a workshop on aging and family every Sunday morning before Worship in June. Read more about the workshop HERE.
Caroline is a native Charlottean and serves as the chaplain at Sharon Towers. She has served churches in both Carolinas. She attended Sewanee: The University of the South for college and graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2009. Caroline is a board member of Young Clergy Women International. She has a six-year-old son, John. Caroline says she loves to travel, work in the yard, and eat junk food!
Caroline says, “I love Jesus, I believe he calls us into authentic relationship with him and with each other, across generations. I also believe that call invites us to recognize and honor the light of Christ in all people, especially those who differ most from us.”
We are excited to welcome Caroline to the Trinity family and believe she will be a blessing to our congregation! Give her a warm Trinity welcome when you see her on Sundays.
