Outreach at Trinity

As our mission statement reads. Trinity feels called to be the “hands and feet of Jesus Christ.” We do this in a myriad of ways, by offering our hands and feet to the service of others, by caring for those in our midst, and by showing love and respect for our neighbors. We continue to discern our call to serve our community, our neighborhood, our city, and our world. We do so by prayerfully considering how God is calling this church to be at work in the world, how to learn to be agents of positive change in our community, and how we can always best serve Christ. Our church has recently moved towards a model of mission that calls us to go “narrow and deep.” What this means is that through prayer we identified three areas in which our church can dig deeply into mission – calling ourselves to deeper service and deeper reflection on the needs of others and the need in our lives to make changes to support one another.

The three areas Trinity works deeply in are: Homelessness, Education, and Hunger.
