Trinity members believe in relational mission through service in three core areas: education, homelessness and hunger. It’s our way to become positive agents of change in our community. Opportunities to sign up and volunteer will be posted on this page. Check back often!
Our partnership with Nations Ford Elementary School is more than a decade strong! It grew out of an effort to support teachers, students and their families. Trinity volunteers provide classroom aides, tutoring, field trip chaperones, and teacher appreciation treats. We also sponsor the NFES Book-a-palooza twice a year through Read Charlotte.
We are proud of the teachers and scholars at NFES as they continue to make great gains!
TPC partners with Urban Ministry Center and Supportive Housing Communities year round.
We support Room in the Inn each winter by hosting a safe, warm place for our homeless neighbors to sleep. Volunteers also serve lunch and make sandwiches for UMC.
We also support McCreesh Place as neighbors transition to stable housing.
Trinity Presbyterian’s Friendship Garden provides fresh produce for Friendship Trays, which delivers hundreds of meals across the Charlotte area weekly.
Trinity has donated thousands of pounds of produce over the years! Church volunteers tend the garden, pick vegetables, and deliver produce to Friendship Trays. No gardening experience is necessary! Some of our church members also volunteer to deliver meals for Friendship Trays.
