WHAT IS A SOJOURNER?
We are the “young adults” of Trinity – families with kids, singles, roughly in the 20’s-40’s demographic. We are excited about being part of something new in our church – more than just a fellowship group. We long to create connection together, serve together, grow in our faith together.
WHAT WE DO:
Sunday School Class – meets every Sunday morning at 9:45 in Rm. 116. Using The Wired Word curriculum, we relate current events to scripture passages and create opportunities for discussion and growth.
Pub Theology – meets every other Thursday night at 7:30pm at Providence Sundries on Providence Rd. Enjoy fellowship, a cold brew, and an engaging discussion on some pertinent matter of faith. Check the Announcements on the home page for the next date.
Mission – working within the larger mission of Trinity, Sojourners partner with some of Trinity’s key partners (such as Charlotte Family Housing and Urban Ministry Center) to join hands in bringing Christ’s love to the city. We intentionally create opportunities for children and adults alike to be involved.
Fellowship Focus – We have fun together! In all things we do, we laugh, share stories and get to know one another; throughout the year we also meet to just enjoy one another’s company at activities such as our Low Country Boil or Sojourner’s Olympics.
